It's been almost a year since my last (solo) Podcast......but hopefully this will make up for the slack-behavior! Lose Control is jam packed full of peak-time, main room anthems....Don't Stop Til You Get Enough, Not Myself Tonight & Bodyshine 2010 have been played at parties/events all over Europe this year (as well as here in London of course)! The opening track Bromance is getting loads of attention and looks set to cross over the the main stream, plus there's an great mix of the house classic 'Diamond Life' by Louie Vega - amazing track. Hope it was worth the wait....feel free to leave your comments here or on Facebook Thanks to my friends Pitron & Sanna, D'Johnny & Dean Rigg for letting me use their tunes! "Like me, you can fly free

About Mike DowerFew DJs make the transition from bedroom wannabe to club resident as smoothly and quickly as Mikey D. His first break came three years ago in Sicily when he got the chance to play at one of the many parties during the popular annual Alternative Summer event, attended by numerous top international clubs and DJs. In the crowd were promoters from some of London’s premier gay venues. His set here soon lead to a gig at A:M, the weekly chunky tech house afterhours at Vauxhall’s hugely popular Fire club. It wasn’t long before he was asked to take a residency at Crash, Vauxhall’s original underground house night, by promoter Wayne Shires, where he developed and perfected his sound playing what he describes as “his own unique style of upfront dance music blending together funky, electro and progressive house” Here he has played alongside some of the most credible and biggest names on the London gay scene: Tom Stefan, Boy George, Wayne G, Steve Pitron and Paul Heron amongst many others. His reputation at Crash soon led to regular gigs at other clubs such as Discotec at The End, Club Colosseum, the world famous Heaven and most recently Area for Queer Kandi (by Hed Kandi) and the London events of internationally renowned clubs such as Matinee (Madrid) and Billy Club (Milan). Internationally, Mikey D has played many major gigs to capacity crowds including: Red Light Paris (Sep 2004), Ark Sydney (Mardi Gras, Feb 2005), Muccassasino Rome (Jul 2006), The Temple in San Francisco (Pride, July 2008) and most recently Pacha in Barcelona (We Are: Fire, June 2008) as well as travelling around Europe to play for Hed Kandi. When he’s not DJing, Mikey D holds down a full time job for Ministry of Sound, the UK's biggest independent dance music label. He has also recently completed a music course and has begun working on his own dance productions. Current Residencies: Beyond @ Area (every Sunday morning) and Lo Profile in Soho (every other Friday) Followers
